Doing my happy dance!

19 Feb

Wild InvitationFollowing bread crumbs from Nalini Singh‘s blog, I found this giveaway at Nephele Tempest’s blog–and I just won an ARC of Wild Invitation!

Mind you, I’ve already pre-ordered a copy (I love my amazon rewards card–particularly given the currently rising price of gas), but this means I get to read it just a bit earlier.

Considering a couple of sucky things that have happened in my life recently, this is a bright, shiny contrast–hence the happy dancing.

Plus, Ms Singh’s Psy/Changeling series is pretty much the only one I’m currently following with eagerness–right now I’m quite meh on most reading (which for an avid reader sucks really, really large). Hell, I’m even ambivalent about reading the next stand alone Nora Roberts, for crying out loud!

So even though this book is a four story, single author anthology, and even though two of the four are actually reprints of previously published short stories (which I already own), I’m very happy about its release, which will hopefully tide me over until the release of the next full length novel (Hearts of Obsidian, June 2013–cover tease posted here, with back cover blurb to be posted on March 5th).

Now that I think about it, reviews of the last three installments before then wouldn’t be amiss either…

Obviously to keep this happy mood going, I’ll send you some badly written, self published porn. You can thank me later.
