While the video focuses on costuming and LARPing, it addresses all of the microaggressions that happen to trans and gender non-conforming people in social occasions everywhere–both in person and online.

Many of us have been raised in a world that is not queer-friendly, so it takes conscious work to overcome passive conditioning, but not only can it be done, we should actively work at it.

And finally, when you see small creators putting out important content such as this? Look for ways to help amplify their voices. If you can, check out their tip jar/ko-fi or paypal link/patreon, and drop them some tangible support.
