Coming out today from Penner Publishing, this is the first installment in a New Adult romantic fiction series, Meredith Falls.
Many of you know that Courtney Milan writes really good historical romance. I have read most of her published work, and what I have not read, I own anyway. To varying degrees, I have liked all of what I’ve read by her–yes, she is yet another author I love whose books I haven’t reviewed much. I suck, okay?
Ms Milan announced late-ish last year that she was writing a contemporary novel. And it so happens it’s NA. In first person narrative, of course.
Alternating first person to boot.
Some readers wondered what was up with that, and Ms Milan kindly explained why she was taking a break from historical romance–a very brief one, as she still has the first title in her next historical series, the Worth Saga, scheduled to come out in a few months.
Here is the blurb, from the author’s website:
Some of you may remember that Nalini Singh announced a couple of weeks ago that she has written a contemporary romance which will be released in just over three weeks. Yes, yes, we’ll have a Nalini Singh release on September 9th, and it’s the first installment of a short series. Cool, yes?
Well, I’m taking part in the massive cover reveal and promotional tour, so here you have it. TA DA!!!
Isn’t it a great cover? And check out the blurb:
Mind you, I’ve already pre-ordered a copy (I love my amazon rewards card–particularly given the currently rising price of gas), but this means I get to read it just a bit earlier.
Considering a couple of sucky things that have happened in my life recently, this is a bright, shiny contrast–hence the happy dancing.
